    Great, Alix. The color is intrigueing. I am mesmerized by the hand and the scream with the little figure hanging around her neck.

    Horrifying how she leans or is thrown nearly off the canvas; her mouth and head seem perfect to me, as does all the explosive movement.
    As for the raging issue, I admire you for taking it on, yet can imagine how it may devour. Recently watched the documentary “The Good Fight” about the Lincoln Brigade – Americans who volunteered to fight Franco’s Fascism in Spain in the 1930’s- and realized that even before TV images, many Americans were outraged and committed their lives to ending the horror of violence “on the other side of the world.”
